At one time, my band’s practice room (I play drums) was at the top of a church tower, right underneath the bells. If you take a look at the picture, it’s right below tower clock, you can see the windows. It has two floors, the practice room and a lounge with sofas and a bar.
My first “internet” access provider was AOL where I spent my nights talking on AOL chats instead of doing homework.
I saw Joe Strummer opening my first big open air festival in ’99 and I didn’t have a clue until he started playing The Clash hits. To this day this is one of the most impressive gigs I’ve seen. Joe put so much energy behind each riff and verse, I shall never forget it.
As a kid I got pooped on by a bird in the backyard. When I got back out after cleaning, the same thing happened again in the exact same spot.
