Most friends know, I use a PowerBook with a shiny Apple on the lid. I’ve been using it on a daily basis (and a day has 24 hours) for all private and business related computer …. well … business. I used various UNIX flavours before, so I am a nerd to some extend. Now, on the PowerBook, it turnes out I am a Mac nerd, to the same extend. I do PHP development to pay my bills and my job enables me to go to university, too. There comes the nerdery again, I attend courses in computer science and linguistics. I wrote about that before (german only, sorry).
This plok already has a category Nerdistan with a some (three) posts. Starting today, it get’s a little focus on Mac specific nerdery.
The Problem with this blog that it is bilingual. While for most of the German readers, English is not a big deal, there other way around is more of a problem. So I’ll keep those nerdy entries in English as they are potentially more interesting for international readers. At least more than the more personal entries here. Also, with the topic of language, some content just has to be german.
I’ll kick off with a little AppleScript I enhanced and a warm welcome to the Mac developer community.
